Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme

Our business is the professional transport of goods and we’re highly tuned into the standards, expectations and requirements of our supply chain. We’re dedicated to meeting and fulfilling our customers’ needs. To this end, we’re extremely proud to hold the highest FORS accreditation, FORS Gold.

To show why it’s so important to us, here’s a brief introduction to the scheme to give you an insight into how it could also benefit your company.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an accredited scheme that includes safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations.

Its purpose is to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving the standards.

FORS encourages operators to take a closer look at their operations and identify areas of strength they can exploit as well as areas for improvement. There are three levels of FORS accreditation, each showing different degrees of operational efficiency. The FORS logo allows potential customers to readily distinguish FORS operators from other operators.

A successful bronze assessment gives an operator reassurance that their operation is being run safely, efficiently and in an environmentally sound manner. There are four key areas meet, Management, Vehicles, Drivers and Operations. Each area has a set criteria, and FORS carry out an audit to determine understanding and compliance.

Silver requirements are aimed at drastically improving the overall safety of operator’s fleet vehicles. This in turn ensures compliance with the standard for Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS), managing Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) and actively monitor fleet efficiency.

Gold requirements primarily involve best practice measures, including operators promoting the FORS Standard to their supply chain and demonstrating meaningful improvements against the baseline data gathered within the Silver requirements.

We are FORS Gold

We continue to strive to provide our customers with total reassurance. Our Gold status provides reassurances that we’re both a fully compliant operator following best practice and that we’re a high-quality operator committed to becoming safer, greener and more efficient.
